Our Internal Medicine physicians focus on adult medicine and serve as the first point of contact in our medical practice. Being the largest group of internists in the Upstate, our physicians have great expertise in preventative care and are specially trained to manage complex problems such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, and lipid management. As a primary care physician, the Internal Medicine physicians also provide medical care for common illnesses as colds, sore throats or urinary tract infections. You can rest assured that you are receiving top quality healthcare from the start.

Our Doctors and Staff

Our Internal Medicine department is compromised of seventeen Board Certified medical doctors. Take time to learn about each doctor and his or her qualifications. You will find out about each doctor’ training, expertise, and qualifications. We believe that you will find a doctor who will best serve your needs as a patient, a doctor you can talk to, a doctor who will listen, and a doctor who will take excellent care of you.

The doctors of Internal Medicine are supported by one of the best medical staffs in the community. Our nurse practitioners, certified diabetic educators, registered dieticians, and licensed staff nurses are ready to serve and care for your needs as a patient.

Your First Visit

Prior to your first appointment, our office will mail an important health questionnaire to you. Please complete and return the form to IMA so that the physician can discuss it with you during your visit. Your visit will include a comprehensive exam by the physician that allows for your new doctor to establish your general health condition. If you have medical records available from previous physicians please have them forward that information to our office so that they may be received prior to your visit.
