Endocrine, Diabetes and Lipid Consultants is an Outpatient Specialty Clinic. Our goal is to provide comprehensive care to patients with a variety of Endocrine and Nutritional disorders with special interest in Diabetes, Thyroid, Osteoporosis, High Cholesterol, and Obesity.

Our Doctor

Dr. Mojgan Rahmani is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Medical Specialties as well as the American Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists.

Our Office

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:45 p.m. and Friday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. The office will handle prescription requests including diabetic supplies at the time of your visit or during normal office hours. Patients are advised to contact their Primary Care Physician for after hours care. Your Primary Care Physician will be able to contact Dr. Rahmani should the need arise.

General Information

Endocrinology is the treatment of diseases that affect your internal glands. Endocrinologists are trained to treat conditions, which are complex and involve many systems and structures within your body. Your doctor may refer you to an Endocrinologist when you are experiencing a problem with your Endocrine system.

The Endocrine system deals with a complex system of glands. Glands are organs that make hormones; hormones control reproduction, metabolism, growth and development. Hormones also control the way you respond to your surroundings. They help you to provide the proper amount of energy and nutrition that your body needs to function. The endocrine glands include the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, ovaries, testes, adrenal, pituitary and hypothalamus.

New patients are accepted on a physician referral basis.

Our Services

We are pleased to offer in house lab services, Radiology, CT scans, Bone Density testing as well as a range of Diabetic Education classes. Our Certified Diabetic and Nursing staff instruct these courses. The office is also equipped to handle the following procedures:

  • Ultrasound Guided Needle Biopsies
  • Insulin Pump Training
  • Continuous Glucose Monitoring
