Computed Tomography

Computed Tomography (CT) scan combines a series of x-ray views taken from many different angles to produce cross sectional images of the bones and soft tissues inside your body. It is used to detect abnormalities such as blood clots, tumors or infectious process such as sinusitis, appendicitis or diverticulitis. Contrast agents may be administered orally and/or intravenously to better visualize organs or structures within the body. IMA uses a spiral or helical scanner to allow for faster and more accurate CT scans.

Our Facility has received the Gold Seal of Accreditation from the American College of Radiology.
